SELF INVESTMENT: my digital marketing future with udacity

I wanted something more , more than me and school

with the way the world is going I just have to be more to myself , I have always wanted to go into digital marketing as I have had a driven passion to market for people and companies, to help them accomplish the goal of drawing traffic to their site , I want that dream to be accomplished through me not excluding the fact that the digital space is already taking over the world, although the situation around me didn’t permit me to embrace my extra dream .

As an undergraduate In the medical sector I was told I had to put in 90% of my concentration and time in my studies to scale through, you can only succeed through total dedication , your mind can’t stream too wide, I have long felt I was in the confine of my books only , I had only 10% to share between my social life, my hobbies and life itself.

O how do I start this , what would it be like, will I be able to cope , won’t I give up somewhere inbetween , do I even have enough resources, do I allow my dream of becoming a digital marketer go down the drain ? But I want to be a successful health personnel too , what if I market for health brands, am I not allowed to dream wide?

These were questions and thoughts I had running through my mind few months ago .

SOMEWHERE ALONG THE LINE

Somewhere along the line I heard of udacity, they were the best they said, hmmm udacity, I have never heard of it before, Is it worth checking out, I went on my search engine anyways , I began to research about her (UDACITY) hoping to find something I can settle for.

I had several offers in front of me , A digital community , a career Coach, a support group, an ABC digital learning platform, and I didn’t even have to worry about missing classes, practicals it was all online and I would have my digital marketing certification waiting for me at the end of the tunnel if I eventually scale through. I was going to be a certified digital marketer, I was marveled.

O yes I have found who my digital future lies with !

I OVERCAME MY FEARS

I finally started the programme , I was excited and thrilled , I am finally in my journey to become a digital marketer a certified one at that hurray !!

TIME

Just after a few days Assignments struck, praticals came in, I was running low on resources, my gadgets were constantly charging, I was lagging behind in my books but I was excelling in my digital marketing pursuit, well this wasn’t what I wanted I didn’t want to leave one dream for another , I wanted to be a certified health practitioner and a certified digital marketer too .

Doubts started cripping in

Immediately I reached out to udacity support team and things were finally in order, I understood there had to be sacrifices ,no not from my acedemics but my remaining 10% lol , as the saying goes “nothing good comes easy” time management was my problem , I drafted my calendar and everything became normal again , my acedemics and pursuit for digital marketing were now in equilibrium.

Yes this is why I choose udacity, I needed a brand I could rely on.

It’s been a while now and I can boldly say I have no regrets choosing udacity, infact I can say udacity was crafted for me , I stroke a balance with things I have only dreamt of for a while, udacity support team has been helpful , my career coach has been wonderful , my session lead introduce me to the lessons even before I attempt them , my digital community has been the best, my social media life has sky rocketed and yes my acedemics is still doing great.
